New Home

In December 2005, we moved our offices into an adorable Victorian Home on Loring Park at 233 West 15th St. in Minneapolis. Legend has it that the home is over 100 years old and was built by a blacksmith for his daughter and son-in-law. Originally, there was a larger home behind this one that the Black Smith lived in himself. The beautiful iron work that the flower box, which is attached to the house is crafted out of, suggests that this is true. I know for a fact that this home, the only house left on the street, has been used for an apartment for the past 25-30 years. When the owner showed it to me, I knew it was time for a transformation. It already had lots of charm and in very good shape considering it's age but was an open canvas for my idea of turning it into my studio.

It took us from early December until the end of February to get moved in and begin working in our new space. We have worked on turning it into a design studio that not only works for us in a practical sense, but is used as a fun showcase of products and crafts which we employ in our design work. We highlight talented artists, cabinet builders, furniture manufacturers, building materials, and much more throughout the space. What was once the living room and dining room has become a showroom with art, accessories, antiques, small furnishings, feng shui tools, and light fixtures as well as jewelry and gift items. All are available for purchase. The kitchen is in the process of transforming into our conference room, a comfortable space to work with our clients on creating their interior dreams; sampling many catalogues, fabric books, finish samples etc…The bedrooms have become our individual offices.

Please call for showroom hours.
